Eastern Orthodoxy has proved to be an attractive option for those Christians who want to be in communion with the historic Church without having to deal with an infallible Papacy, Marian dogmas, Purgatory, Modernism, etc. Here I discuss these subjects with Michael Lofton, founder of Reason and Theology and author of “Answering Orthodoxy: A Catholic Response to Attacks from the East” – a book that responds to 30 objections to Catholicism often held by our Eastern brothers (and many Protestants!).
